What we collect
Three kinds of information. What you give us: your name, email, and phone number when you reach out or sign up, and everything you enter into Ledge — clients, estimates, schedules, invoices, photos. What your connections send us: if you link QuickBooks Online, we receive the bills, vendors, and payment records needed to put costs on your projects. What using the product generates: standard technical logs — pages visited, errors hit, browser type — used to fix things, not to profile you.
The QuickBooks connection
The connection uses Intuit’s official authorization (OAuth). We never see or store your QuickBooks password. We read bills, vendors, and payments so they can land on your projects, and we write only what you tell Ledge to send. Disconnecting it in either product cuts the link immediately; we keep the copies already on your projects, because they’re your job records.
What we do with it
Run the product, fix the product, and talk to you. That’s it. We do not sell your data. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. We don’t train AI models on your project data. Aggregate, anonymized counts (for example, how many shops use assemblies) may inform what we build — nothing that identifies you or your clients.
Who else touches it
The vendors that run Ledge’s infrastructure — hosting, email delivery, payment processing — process data on our instructions under their own contracts. People you invite to your shop’s account (your foreman, your designer, your accountant) see what you give them access to. Law enforcement gets data only with valid legal process, and we’ll tell you unless we’re legally barred from it.
Export and deletion
You can export your data — clients, estimates, projects, invoices — at any time, in usable formats, without asking us. If you leave, ask and we delete your account data within 30 days, minus what tax and payment law requires us to keep. No exit interview, no retention dance.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to keep you signed in and first-party analytics to see which pages break. No third-party ad trackers, no cross-site anything.
Your privacy choices
Email hello@ledge.build to see, correct, export, or delete what we hold about you — whoever you are, whatever state you’re in; we don’t make you cite a statute. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. Since we don’t sell data, there’s nothing to opt out of selling.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll email you and note it in the changelog before it takes effect. Quiet edits to privacy policies are exactly the kind of thing this company exists to not do.
