About Ledge

Every project has a lifecycle. Ledge covers all of it.

Running two landscape design-build companies in Texas — eight to ten crews, nearly $10M a year combined — I spent years paying for HubSpot, Jobber, Zapier, CompanyCam, Trello, and six other tools that never fully talked to each other. Ledge is what I built when I ran out of patience for the workarounds.

Why we built it

Built by someone who's been in your boots.

Running two landscape design-build companies in Texas — eight to ten crews, about $10 million a year combined — you'd think finding the right software would be the easy part. It wasn't.

Every month, the same ritual: open the credit card statement and run down the list. HubSpot. Jobber. CallRail. CompanyCam. Trello. Zapier. Bluebeam. Google Sheets. Each one solving a piece of the problem. None of them solving the whole thing. The time you saved in each individual tool, you lost connecting them all together. You were spending more money and getting less time back.

That's when Ledge started — not as a product idea, but as a way out of a problem that had no good solution. Generic field service tools don't understand what it means to run a project that starts with a design consultation and ends with a six-figure install. They don't track margin the way design-build tracks margin. They don't account for scope changes mid-project, multi-phase scheduling, or the gap between what you estimated and what you actually built.

Ledge was built specifically for landscape design-build firms — not adapted from something generic. The workflows map to how this business actually runs, because they were designed by someone who ran it. Most business owners know how to solve problems. What kills them is the surprises. Ledge doesn't eliminate problems — it eliminates surprises.
